Baked good lovers rejoice! Greggs has unveiled its new Autumn menu, and there’s a new breakfast offering for those looking to start their day with a treat.
Available now, the menu features 10 new items, including some old favourites making a return, alongside some brand new flavours to warm us all up.
Coming back for the cooler months, the Pumpkin Spice Latte (£2.50) and Salted Caramel Latte (£2.50) lattes are available – including an iced option. They will also be joined by an Orange Mocha (£2.60) and Orange Hot Chocolate (£3.10).
Brand-new items food items include a Mexican Bean & Spicy Cheese Flatbread and a BBQ Chicken Pizza Box – available in four or six slices (£7.55 for four slices and £9.55 for six).
And, for fans of a sweet treat, there’s a new Pumpkin Spice Doughnut. The soft doughnut is filled with spiced pumpkin flavour and topped off with icing and a caramelised biscuit crumb. This sweet treat is available at £1.35.
But the truly stand-out new item is a breakfast game changer.
The All Day Breakfast Baguette is packed with omelette, sausage, bacon, cheddar cheese, and ketchup, and available from just £3.80.
Previously only doing breakfast items in the morning, Greggs says ‘hearing the woes of breakfast enthusiasts across the UK, Greggs has decided to put an end to the madness of breakfast ending at 11am.’
So now you don’t have to panic about missing out on breakfast on those days when nothing but a fry-up sarnie will do.
Joining the All Day Breakfast Baguette is a fiery new addition to the lunchtime lineup.
The aforementioned Mexican Bean and Spicy Cheese Flatbread – is loaded with mixed beans in a Mexican-style sauce with mixed peppers, sweetcorn, and jalapeños. It’s then topped with slices of cheddar cheese with chilies.
Greggs warns that this is a sandwich ‘made for those who can handle the heat’. The Mexican Bean and Spicy Cheese Flatbread is priced at £3.50.
The new autumn menu is available now in Greggs stores. You can also click and collect your new faves using the Greggs App, which is free to download and gives access to a variety of tasty rewards. For every nine purchases app users can get a hot drink or treat completely free.
