A Scots man has shared his frustrations after waiting four hours in the queue for Oasis tickets for the site to accuse him of being a ‘bot’.

David Russell, of Bathgate, was among the thousands of eager fans waiting on the Ticketmaster queue on Saturday morning, in the hope of getting his hands on tickets to the legendary band’s reunion tour.

Liam and Noel Gallagher will take to the stage at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield on Friday 8, Saturday 9 and Tuesday 12 August 2025, following a 16-year-long feud between the Manchester-born brothers.

We reported earlier that following a rush of demand, an error number was displayed, indicating that the webpage could not handle any more connections.

Several patient fans – including David – waited a staggering four hours and more, to be booted out of the Ticketmaster queue and accused of being a bot.

Speaking to the Daily Record, David recalled a nail-biting morning, he said: “I was in the queue for over four hours, I got from 62,000 in the queue to number 1.

“Immediately I went in to book my ticket and it said straight away, ‘We think you are a bot’ and it cut me off.

“I’ve spoken with various different family members and everyone has had the exact same experience.

“No-ones been successful.”

He added: “I spoke with various other people, and Ticketmaster are still allowing people to join the queue and waste that amount of time for nothing.

“It’s an absolute disgrace.”

Ryan Blackwood, from East Kilbride said: “I’m absolutely devastated, we had the page up and seats selected then it just crashed.

“Questions have to be asked over why Ticketmaster has a monopoly over this, it isn’t fair for music fans, their website can’t cope with the demand.

“It’s been a complete shambles from start to finish. I think there’s no hope of getting tickets.”
