Outlander producer Maril Davis has treated fans to an early glimpse of the Scottish setting for the much-anticipated eighth and final season of the smash-hit show.
She has sent followers into a frenzy with a captivating preview of her trip to the filming site for the eighth series of the Starz hit drama.
The last chapter of the beloved show is currently in production, starring Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe who return as Jamie and Claire Fraser for their final bow.
Maril took to Instagram, where she shared an impressive video showcasing the breathtaking vistas of Scotland whilst on her way to work.
“Sometimes a simple commute to work can take your breath away,” she muses in the video caption.
“It never gets old, even after all this time.”
Recently marking its tenth year since its debut, Outlander remains a firm favourite with its dedicated fan base.
Followers of the Frasers can look forward to the continuation of season seven, with fresh episodes expected to drop this November.
Maril’s heartfelt update about the well-followed series prompted fans to join in celebrating Scotland’s natural beauty.
“Thank you for always sharing your experiences while in Scotland with we Outlander fans. Scotland ya wee beauty!” one fan commented appreciatively.
