BLUEFIELD, W.Va. – The Bluefield State football team kicked off their season on Saturday night at Mitchell Stadium.

Big Blue lost thirty-four to three against Winston-Salem State in a rough game for BSU on both sides of the football.

Bluefield State had opportunities to score a touchdown multiple times but the Ram’s defense locked up on every chance they had, except for one when BSU was forced to kick a field goal.

Big Blue football is back at it next Saturday, September 7th at Concord at 1:00 pm.
