A man found dead in a garden of a family member’s home died of blunt force trauma from dog bites, an inquest was told. Nicholas Glass was found dead outside a home in Birmingham, in the early hours of August 21, reports the Mirror.

Police believe as many as four dogs were present when the 33-year-old was attacked. Two of the animals were seized by searching police officers at the time and the remaining pair were discovered two days later.

Tests found two of the dogs were banned breed XL bully, and neither had a certificate of exemption despite the recent change in law.
