Officers are appealing for help after two men with weapons acted in a threatening manner towards another driver in Cambuslang.

The disturbance happened on Saturday, August 24, between 2.30pm and 2.45pm when Police received a report of two men in a white Ford van acting in a threatening manner with weapons towards another driver on Greenlees Road.

There were no reports of injuries but damage was caused to a vehicle.

Officers are appealing for further information as enquiries continue to establish the full circumstances.

Constable Alan Smith, from Rutherglen Police Office, said: “This was a frightening incident for those involved and it’s vital we trace the people responsible.

“I’d urge anyone with information or anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anything which may help our investigation, to come forward.

“Anyone with dashcam footage of the area is also asked to please review this and bring anything of significance to our attention.”
