Another woman who lives nearby said she has two young boys and the incident had terrified her.

Speaking to Metro.co.uk earlier this week, a man who lives a few houses up from the scene said the area used to be ‘very peaceful’ until late last year.

‘I would wake up at midnight and see … boys walking on the street, kicking bins over and so on.’

This is the third fatal stabbing of a teenager in the West Midlands over the last year, following the deaths of 15-year-old Isaac Brown and 17-year-old Harleigh Hepworth.
