BLUEFIELD, W.Va. – The West Virginia State Fire Marshal’s Office said two people died in a house fire in Boone County.
According to a press release, the fire happened on the morning of Saturday, August 31 in the 700 block of Toney’s Branch Road near Bloomingrose.
David and Gloria Peters, husband and wife, died in the fire and have been taken to the WV Medical Examiner’s Office for Autopsy.
They were both 76-years-old.
The cause of the fire has been ruled undetermined by investigators from the West Virginia Fire Marshal’s Office.
