MT HOPE, W.Va. -There’s a new healthcare option for women in Fayette County.
Gentle Care Women’s Clinic is now officially open to the public in Mount Hope.
The clinic offers pregnancy and STD tests, along with home birth, gynecology, prenatal and postpartum care.
Its owner tells us that they are one of the only women’s clinics in the state offering walk-in hours, adding they offer their services so even people on a tight budget can afford to get this care.
“I think we are one of the only walk in clinics that offers a sliding scale. Lots of women’s health clinics don’t offer a sliding scale and so our prices are low because they are itemized services and the cater to folks who are low income and can’t afford to pay for things out of pocket”
The clinic’s hours are by appointment Monday through Friday with walk-in hours Tuesdays from 8am til 2pm. and Wednesdays from 2pm til 8pm.
