Taylor Swift is taking center stage even off the field, as the pop star appears multiple times throughout the NFL’s new promo video for the 2024-25 season, which kicks off this week.

Footage of the Grammy winner cheering on boyfriend Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs last season is featured five different times throughout the league’s 29-second clip, released Monday night.

The montage includes highlights from each month of the ’23-24 football season, with the “cardigan” singer shown twice in the September segment, including once alongside Kelce’s mom, Donna. Swift is also shown walking into one of the January games and smooching the tight end on the field after the Chiefs won their second consecutive Super Bowl.

Also featured is a shot from the jumbotron showing Swift chugging a beer in what became a viral moment as the Chiefs played the San Francisco 49ers for the trophy in Las Vegas.

It’s unsurprising that the NFL wanted to shine a spotlight on Swift’s appearances at the games, which reportedly triggered an 11% uptick amongst Gen Z and millennial women’s approval of the NFL. As of early February, the “Taylor Swift effect” resulted in 64% of that demographic holding a favorable view of the league.
