BECKLEY, W.Va. – The U.S. Marshals Service announced 18 people were arrested after an August roundup in Raleigh County.

The Task Force, which included several Sheriff Office’s and Departments, recovered the following items according to a press release:

  • 40 grams of fentanyl
  • $3,200 in cash
  • 1 firearm

The Marshals Service said many of the arrests were in relations to delivery and distribution of narcotics and circuit court capias warrants.

The operation took place on August 13 and August 28 by the U.S Marshals Southern District of West Virginia CUFFED. (Cops United Felony Fugitive Enforcement Division. Task Force.
