Past and present members of Calderglen Harriers are being invited to join in the club’s 40th anniversary celebrations.

The road and cross-country running club, based in Calderglen Country Park, is marking the milestone with a Ceilidh at East Kilbride Sports Club on Saturday, October 26 at 7pm.

All current and past members, plus partners are warmly welcomed to attend.

Founded in 1984 to promote road and cross-country running in East Kilbride and its surrounding area, the Harriers are affiliated to East Kilbride Sports Club.

The Harriers take part in a wide variety of races, including half and full marathons such as Glasgow, East Kilbride and London. The club is always willing to encourage new members to come along and try out some long-distance training sessions.

The age group within the club ranges from primary school age to 60-plus.
