GEORGETOWN, Texas — Drivers have been asked to avoid the area after a gas leak in Georgetown on Wednesday afternoon.
Around 1:15 p.m., the Georgetown Fire Department said westbound Williams Drive from Park Meadow Boulevard to Lakeway Drive was shut down due to the leak.
Crews with Atmos Energy are on the scene making repairs, which are expected to last throughout the day.
