BLUEFIELD, W.Va. – Friends of Craft Memorial Library group held their monthly book sale fundraiser today.

Every first Wednesday of every month group other gentle used books from donations or from the library to sale.

The collection of books includes hardbound, paperbacks, large print and CDs for the visually impaired.

Funds made in the sale go toward library events and supplies.

“It’s used for children’s programs like the Mestival,” said Lori Lovern, president of Friends of Craft Memorial Library. “Additionally, we provide a monthly stipend for the library to use for supplies like printing paper, ink, things like that.”

The next book sale will be October 2, 10:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
