(Gray News) – The winning numbers for a Mega Millions jackpot worth an estimated $681 million have been drawn. If won, it would be the seventh largest jackpot in the game’s history.
The numbers are 12, 41, 43, 52, 55 and 9.
The jackpot swelled after no ticket matched all six numbers in Friday night’s drawing.
The last Mega Millions jackpot won was in Illinois on June 4, with earnings worth $552 million.
The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 302,575,350.
Mega Millions holds the distinction of being the only lottery game to have awarded six jackpots worth more than $1 billion, all in different states — New Jersey, Florida, South Carolina, Maine, Illinois and Michigan.
Tickets are sold in 45 states as well as Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Drawings are held at 11 p.m. Eastern on Tuesdays and Fridays in Atlanta.
