Stacey Solomon is worried about being seen as greedy while considering the purchase of an additional property for her family, it has been claimed. The TV star is said to be acutely aware of the potential social media scrutiny if she goes ahead with the purchase.

An insider told Heat: “Stacey wants to be smart about her money and invest. But she’s terrified that she’ll be labelled greedy.”

Despite understanding that many are finding the housing market tough at the moment, they added, ITV star Stacey reckons she’ll draw criticism: “She knows it’s still a difficult time with many people struggling, especially when it comes to buying a home and she can imagine the online commenters saying things like, ‘Alright for some’, in a sarcastic tone if she does get another property.

“Stacey feels it would be a wise idea to expand her property portfolio, as when the kids start leaving home they could use it as a base or a bolt-hole.”

Solomon’s reported desire for family security as her children mature leads her to consider extra real estate investment: “She hates the idea of her kids growing up and her becoming an empty nester…she would feel more comfortable…if her older kids had a base near her,” reports the Express.

ITV’s Stacey Solomon has once again found herself at the centre of social media controversy after being criticised for her family holiday to Turkey with her husband Joe Swash.

The popular telly couple and their kids stayed at a luxurious five-star resort in Antalya, drawing some negative attention due to recent allegations of animal cruelty in the country.

According to The Mirror, an upset follower posted: “Google the new law that was passed there at the end of July. They are poisoning them, beheading them, setting fire to shelters, there are huge mass graves. I have two Turkish rescue dogs, and loved Turkey until this law was passed. There are heartbreaking videos on TikTok etc.”

Another voiced their disapproval by saying: “I’m really sorry to pop the holiday fun bubble but Turkey has just passed a law to euthanise stray dogs (4 million I think). No matter how much fun it looks, I wouldn’t step foot there knowing what they are doing to animals.”

Yet despite the backlash, Stacey had nothing but good things to say about the resort where she, Joe, and their children relaxed, acknowledging the reason for their discounted stay.

She said: “I’m going to put AD on every frame that I tag the hotel in because I did get money off through Super Connector and I also worked with Jet 2 earlier in the year and so got some vouchers, so I used them and got money off.”

Moreover, she added: “It’s actually the same hotel we came to last year. It is a really expensive hotel, but we loved it so much.”
