We’re not quote sure if we’re completely over Euro 2024 yet, but it’s time to go again as Scotland return to action.

We’re Nations League top dogs these days after being promoted to League A of UEFA’s newest competition. And with rumours that FIFA are planning to use performance in this one to determine the seedings for the World Cup qualification draw, Scotland doing well takes on extra importance if we want to make to to USA, Canada and Mexico in 2026.

That will be easier said than done however. In a group including Poland, Portugal and Croatia, finishing in the top two to ensure topseed status for the World Cup draw will require a massive improvement from the disaster that was Germany in the summer. When and where will the game take place?

Scotland will be going head to head with Poland at their home grounds on Thursday, September 5. Kick off is at 7:45pm UK time. The match will be played at Hampden Park.

What channel is it on?

ITV4 and ITVX will be showing the live action take place after striking a deal with rights holders to show the game, and for a change, it’s free to air for armchair fans! The BBC and Premier Sports had lodged a joint bid to broadcast the games but ITV beat them to the punch.
