BLUEFIELD, VA – The Junior Debonairs at Graham Middle School have announced their September service project of the month and they are hoping the Two Virginias will get involved.
The ladies have chosen to aid the furry friends at the Tazewell County Animal Shelter at 736 Camp Joy Road in Bluefield, VA.
Each week five girls are heading to the shelter to feature a cat or dog on the Graham Middle Debonairs social media pages with the hopes of finding the furry friend a fur-ever home.
This will continue each week in September, but also the group of 20 young women and Mrs. Hale, Mrs. Sluss and Mrs. French will also be collecting dog & cat food and toys for the shelter.
Under the guidance of the groups teachers, the Junior Debonairs President Shae Scarberry, the Debonairs also hoping to provide funding by the end of the month to be able to spay or neuter at least one of the animals at the shelter.
