Fire crews are tackling a major blaze in Dundee tonight, after flames were spotted bursting out the roof of a building.
A fire has broken out in flats in the city’s Princes Street. Scottish Fire and Rescue were scrambled to the scene at 8.40pm. Police and ambulance are also in attendance.
Six appliances and an aerial unit are currently trying to tackle the inferno.
Footage from shocked onlookers showed huge flames bursting out of the roof of the property. Fire engines can be seen lined along the street as crews battle to get the blaze under control.
An SFRS spokesperson said: “We got the call at 8.40pm to attend a house on Princes Street in Dundee.
“There are four appliances and an aerial at the scene.”
