LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) – A man is facing multiple charges after he reportedly broke into and stole from two police cruisers belonging to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office.
Conner Patterson, 18, of London was arrested at approximately 9:16 p.m. on Tuesday night.
Officials with the sheriff’s office said the arrest followed an investigation into the windows being broken out of two police cruisers, and a handheld radio and turnout gear stolen at the sheriff’s office.
Patterson was charged with criminal mischief and theft by unlawful taking $1000 or more, but under $10,000.
He was taken to the Laurel County Correctional Center.
This is an on-going investigation.
