A cause of death has been confirmed in the sudden passing of “Love & Marriage: Huntsville” star Keke Jabbar earlier this summer at the age of 42.

Citing an autopsy report from the Alabama medical examiner, TMZ said the reality star died from carbon monoxide poisoning. She was reportedly found to have 64% carboxyhemoglobin in her blood — a lethal level that’s up to 32 times higher than what’s expected in a typical non-smoker.

The toxicology report also confirmed Jabbar had oxycodone and oxymorphone in her system at the time, but the drugs were not listed as her primary cause of death.

It’s unknown the manner in which she died.

On her OWN reality series, Jabbar opened up about overcoming her struggles with opioid addiction, but claimed on a reunion episode to have “never taken any kind of hard drug,” which she categorized as narcotics like heroin, crack and cocaine.

She also insisted she was sober while filming “Love & Marriage: Huntsville.”

Jabbar’s family didn’t offer any explanation for her death, which they announced in a statement July 2.

“It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved KeKe. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded in love,” the statement read, without offering an exact date of death.

In addition to being a reality TV star, Jabbar was an author and professor.
