An eight-year-old girl has been taken to hospital after being knocked down by a car in Glasgow.
The incident happened at around 6pm on Saturday September 7 on Broomfield Road in Springburn.
The schoolgirl was taken to hospital for treatment and later released, reports Glasgow Live.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6pm on Saturday, September 7, 2024 we received a report of a collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle on Broomfield Road in Glasgow.
“Officers attended. The pedestrian, an eight-year-old girl, was taken to hospital for treatment and later released.
“The vehicle was traced nearby a short time later and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
