LONDON, Ky. (WYMT/Gray News) – The City of London Mayor Randall Weddle has confirmed that an active shooting is in progress in London.
Shots were fired on Interstate 75 near Exit 49.
The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed multiple people have been shot.
Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 11 Media Contact Les Dixon said I-75 along with KY 909 and U.S. 25 in Laurel County are currently shut down.
I-75 is closed from Exit 41 to Exit 59.
