One of three young men shot outside a Queens house party has died, police said Monday.

The gunman, who opened fire at the victims as they loaded DJ equipment into a van, is still being sought.

Shots rang out outside the house on 220th St. near 133rd Ave. in Laurelton about 1 a.m. Sunday.

The mortally wounded victim, struck in the upper body, was rushed by medics to Jamaica Hospital in critical condition and later died, police said.

The other victims, a 24-year-old man shot in the neck and a 33-year-old man hit in the body, are in stable condition and expected to recover.

Police said the younger survivor was taken by medics to North Shore University Hospital while the other was also taken to Jamaica Hospital.

Francisco Diaz, 40, said that a number of partygoers accidentally came to his house next door, mistaking the two houses. There was a birthday party for a 2-year-old girl at Diaz’s house that ended about three hours before the shooting next door.

“Apparently it was something with the DJ,” he said of the shooting. “The shooter went to the DJ, so maybe he was targeted. The family [hosting that party] didn’t get hurt. It’s really scary.”

Police recovered shell casings at the scene but do not yet know what sparked the shooting.
