ATLANTA (WANF/Gray News) – Two planes hit each other at a taxiway intersection at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport Tuesday morning, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

The wingtip of the first plane, a Delta Airbus A350 bound for Tokyo, clipped the tail of a smaller Endeavor Air flight headed for Lafayette, Louisiana, at around 10:10 a.m.

There were no reported injuries, and the passengers will be rebooked on other flights, according to Delta.

There were 221 passengers on the larger flight and 56 passengers on the smaller one, Delta said.

Video from the airport shows the smaller plane with its tail wing twisted in a 90-degree angle. People could be seen getting off of the plane and boarding a bus.

The larger plane drove back to its gate to deplane, according to the airport.

The rest of the airport’s operations have not been impacted.
