Police officers are appealing for information following an assault in East Kilbride.
The incident happened on Maxwell Drive around 1.10am on Sunday, September 8.
A 34-year-old man was taken to the nearby Hairmyres Hospital for treatment.
Officers are keen to trace a man who was wearing a white t-shirt, black trousers and holding a black jacket in his hand.
Detective Sergeant Jim Williamson said: “Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing and I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this to contact us.
“I would also appeal to anyone who may have private CCTV or dash-cam footage which may assist us to get in touch.”
