OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT/Gray News) – Police are currently responding to a shooting at Omaha Northwest High School.
Omaha Police dispatch confirmed there is one victim at the school.
Police have confirmed that the shooting suspect is in custody. Police said the scene is secure.
Police helicopter was seen circling the area, and crime-scene tape has been put up on the campus.
“Our department sent a wireless emergency alert to the surrounding area of Northwest High School to communicate police presence and there is no public safety threat at this time,” Omaha police said in a social media post.
