There’s growing concerns for the welfare of a pensioner who has been missing for nearly two days.

Alice Mitchell, 82, was last seen at Forrit Brae in Bucksburn, Aberdeen, at around 11pm on Monday. A frantic search has been launched and officers from Police Scotland are appealing for information.

Alice is described as being around 5ft 1ins tall, slim build, with short grey hair. It is unknown what Alice is currently wearing however she may be wearing a black bomber style jacket or cream jumper with zip at the front.

Sergeant Ross Geddes said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Alice’s welfare and it is important that we make sure she is safe and well as soon as we can. We are asking anyone who has seen Alice to get in touch with us immediately.”

Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident 1131 on September 11.
