Jon Bon Jovi has reportedly helped to save a woman’s life after talking her down from the ledge of a bridge.

The rock legend was working in Nashville when he stopped filming to speak to the woman. The 62-year-old was shooting a music video for his song ‘People’s House’ on the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge in Music City when he spotted the vulnerable pedestrian.

As reported in the Mirror, a source said: “Bon Jovi routinely deals with people in crisis from hunger to homelessness, among other issues, through the work with his foundation, the JBJ SOUL FOUNDATION.”

They continued to tell TMZ: “He has extensive training in speaking with individuals experiencing a crisis… but he did what anyone would have done in that situation.”

The It’s My Life singer spoke out for the first time since his son Jake Bongiovi married Stranger Things star, Millie Bobby Brown, in a secret ceremony in May. Fans were shocked when it was revealed that the 20-year-old actress had quietly married Jake, who is 22-year-old.

The young couple, who started dating in 2021 and got engaged last spring, said their vows in an intimate ceremony surrounded by their closest friends and family.

The legendary musician confirmed during a chat on BBC’s The One Show that he attended the ceremony, praising the “absolutely fantastic” couple.

He said: “They’re great, they are absolutely fantastic.”

He went on to give insights into the nuptials, which were a quiet family event: “It was a very small family wedding and the bride looked gorgeous and Jake is happy as can be, and yeah it’s true.”

The rockstar previously spoke of his son and Millie’s love story, drawing parallels with his own decades-long romance with wife Dorothea. Celebrating nearly 35 years of their marriage soon, Jon confessed to the Times: “It is an accelerated version of what I went through 40 years ago and I think, with the support of family around them, they’re going to be great together.”
