A huge machete has been seized by police after a man was searched in Glasgow.
Officers conducted the search in the city’s Pollok on Tuesday.
It is understood the male was charged and will appear in court at a later date.
A report will also be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
In the meantime, the weapon has been removed from the community.
Images of the sizable blade show it pictured on the bonnet of a police car after it was seized by cops.
A Police Scotland statement reads: “Pollok officers yesterday arrested a male who was in public in possession of a large machete. The item has been seized and is no longer within your community.
“A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal and the male will attend court at a later date.”
