Police in Stirling are probing multiple vandalism attacks on a doctor’s surgery after windows were shattered by shots from an air weapon or catapult.

Officers were called to St Ninians Medical Practice at around 4pm on Tuesday afternoon, September 17, following reports of a window at the premises being smashed there.

No suspect was witnessed carrying out the attack and police say they attended and ensured the area was safe.

Enquiries remain ongoing at this time and there’s thought to be no wider threat to the public.

Police Scotland has received two similar calls over the last three weeks regarding windows being vandalised at the practice, with all three vandal attacks happening at the rear of the practice.

It remains unclear what sort of device has been used to cause the damage to the windows and police are not ruling out the possibility that it may have been caused by some sort of air weapon or catapult.

Nobody was injured in the incident and officers are treating all three incidents as being linked.
