Jade Goody’s widower Jack Tweedy claims that his late wife’s dying wish for her sons to receive a private education has regrettably not been fulfilled. He has hinted, without concrete evidence, that significant portions of Jade’s earnings were swallowed by tax demands.

In a candid chat with The Sun, Jack revealed: “It would have broken Jade if she’d known. She’d be devastated. I’ve never been able to get my head around it – the person’s dead.”

Jade’s valiant battle with cervical cancer concluded on March 22, 2009. Before her tragic passing, the ex-dental nurse had secured various profitable media deals, intent on ensuring those funds would provide a top-notch future education for her lads, Bobby and Freddy who were just five and four-years-old when she died.

Included in these agreements was a deal worth over £1 million from OK! magazine for exclusive rights to her nuptials with Jack, who has since stated that Jade was adamant he should have half of their combined income, the Mirror reports.

Yet, by 2011, Jade’s fortune had dwindled to nearly nothing due to debts amounting to £1.8million, largely because the reality TV icon hadn’t settled her income tax bills in the four years leading up to her passing. Reflecting on Jade’s finances, Jack commented: “I didn’t take a penny from her. Nothing. She was lying in the hospital bed trying to buy me a flat.

“I told her no. She wanted to make sure I was alright. She knew I was young. She knew I loved her to absolute pieces. And she knew if she wasn’t there I wouldn’t know what to do.”

Following Jade’s death at the age of 27, her boys have been under the care of their dad Jeff Brazier. Last year, Jeff shared a touching video detailing how he and his sons honour Jade Goody’s memory during the festive season.

Jack Tweed is set to embrace fatherhood for the first time, 15 years after Jade’s tragic death. Earlier this year, he announced with joy that his long-term partner, Ellis Sargeant, is expecting their first child.

Speaking to The Sun, Jack expressed his excitement: “I’ve always wanted kids. I am so excited.” He revealed that Ellis is eight weeks into her pregnancy and discussed his past struggles with feeling “guilty” about moving on and finding happiness.

In his conversation with the newspaper, Jack said: “I’ve always felt guilty, but now I finally, I think, I’ve accepted it, and I don’t feel that guilt anymore, really, about it. I feel like it’s acceptable to move on, and I think she’d want the same thing as well.”

Jack Tweed has candidly spoken about the complex emotions he’s experiencing as he anticipates the arrival of his new baby, a moment filled with both happiness and memories of past grief. He had previously endured the sadness of a miscarriage with his late wife Jade Goody before her illness was discovered.

Reflecting on that difficult time, Jack recalled the devastation of Jade’s miscarriage, describing it as “horrible” because of their shared excitement to begin a family together. He admitted his profound love for Jade and, although he cherishes her sons Bobby and Freddie, whom she had with former partner Jeff Brazier, as if they were his own, Jack has always longed to have children with the reality TV star.

Jack reflected on the heart-wrenching loss of their first child, confessing: “Obviously that was horrible, because I obviously loved Jade to absolute pieces, and I was so excited we were having a kid together.”
