Virgin River’s Alexandra Breckenridge has given fans a hysterical sneak peek at what goes on behind the scenes of the hit Netflix series.

Alexandra is best known to subscribers as Mel Monroe, a nurse who moves to the small-town in Northern California after a tragedy.

She soon strikes up a whirlwind romance with local bar owner and former Marine Jack Sheridan (played by Martin Henderson) while dealing with crime and drama amongst her new neighbours.

Ahead of the sixth season hopefully dropping before the end of this year, the actress has been keeping fans up to date with posts on her personal Instagram account.

She recently shared a throwback video of herself in stitches during Virgin River’s now iconic moment at the Labor Day carnival in season five.

Martin ‘freaked out’ Alexandra on the Ferris Wheel

“One Time. In Virgin River. I was on a Ferris wheel with Martin Henderson,” she wrote alongside the clip.

“And he kept rocking it and it freaked me out and I yelled at him.”

Thankfully, Martin’s hijinks hasn’t affected their friendship as the two co-stars still appear to be on great terms.

Their on-screen relationship first began in 2019 and millions of fans are itching to see where Jack and Mel go next.

But their relationship might need to take a backseat for a while as Mel reconnects with her estranged father Everett Reed (John Allen Nelson).

However, there’s also the promise of wedding bells on the horizon for the pair as one episode is intriguingly titled The Big Day, which many fans think can only mean one thing.

Viewers are all on tenterhooks for the new season, which still doesn’t have an official release date despite Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos confirming it would be out by the end of the year.
