BRAZORIA COUNTY, Texas (KHOU) – Two people were killed and five were injured after a mobile home collapsed on a family in Brazoria County, Texas, on Sunday.
The sheriff’s office said several people were working to level the manufactured home when it collapsed, trapping them.
A 17-year-old boy and a 31-year-old man were killed in the collapse, according to Brazoria County authorities.
Five other people were rescued; first responders used a chainsaw to cut through the floor to get to one of them.
Four of those individuals were taken by helicopter to Houston-area hospitals in critical condition. Another was taken to a hospital by ambulance and is in stable condition.
