AUSTIN, Texas —
It’s HAAM Day! Tuesday’s event is the biggest fundraiser for the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM), a nonprofit that provides affordable health insurance to working musicians in Central Texas.
This HAAM Day, more than 250 performances are scheduled at more than 100 different venues and businesses all across the Austin area. HAAM hopes to raise more than $875,000 to help provide what can be lifesaving health care to local musicians.
Those interested can support HAAM Day by attending Tuesday’s shows, shopping official HAAM merchandise or making a direct donation to the nonprofit.
