It was a shock of the ages as Jane Fonda proved that heading towards 90 is no obstacle to looking fabulous as she took to the catwalk in Paris.
The Barbarella actress, 86, sparkled at the L’Oreal Paris Fashion Show in a in a sequinned and belted trench coat.
Other attendees at Monday’s celeb-studded event included Andie MacDowell, Kendall Jenner, Eva Longoria, Heidi Klum and new L’Oréal international spokeswoman Cara Delevingne
Fonda, a film icon whose work spans six decades of film and television with two Academy Awards to her name, completed her striking look with black tights and metallic silver sneakers.
The glittery ensemble drew loud cheers from the crowd as she swayed effortlessly along the runway while interacting with the other models and waved and winked to the crowd.
She went for total glam with a bold red lips and rosy cheeks.
Fonda was selected to walk in the show as she is one of the L’Oréal brand ambassadors, along with Kendall Jenner, 28, who was also in attendance.
Many of her fans took the comments of an Instagram video to react to her runway look and applaud the Hollywood icon.
“Wow wow wow nearly 87 and killing it on the runway,” one fan gushed, while another added: “I got chills watching her just now! She’s a treasure.”
Others commended Fonda for having “So much confidence and beauty”.
One fan couldn’t help but swoon over Fonda’s silver tresses, which were shaped in a curled blowout.
“Love her hair like that,” they penned.
Not only did Fonda rock her grey hair, but she also sported bouncy Hollywood curls.

Born to Canadian-American socialite Frances Ford Seymour Fonda and actor Henry Fonda, she starred in some of the biggest films of the 20th century including 1965’s Cat Ballou, 1967’s Barefoot in the Park, 1968’s cult sci-fi film Barbarella and 1979’s The China syndrome.
She also was Emmy-nominated for her roles in The Newsroom which ran from 2012-14 and Grace and Frankie from 2015 to 2022.
Actress Andie MacDowell, 66, who previously took part in one of L’Oreal’s show, looked amazing in a strapless sparkling silver gown.
Meanwhile, Desperate Housewives actress Eva Longoria, 49, stunned in a low-cut white gown alongside model Cara Delevingne, 32, who waltzed down a lavish staircase in a open red silk trench coat, high waisted hot pants and chunky black heels.
Heidi Klum, 51, was dressed in a starkly different look, black latex. The former Project Runway host wore a floor-length dress paired with a diamond tennis necklace and large diamond dangle earrings.
Fonda, who is also known for her climate change activism, was also joined by actress Viola Davis, 59, Bridgerton star Simone Ashley, 29, and pop star Camila Cabello, 27.
The Le Défilé L’Oréal Paris event took place at the Place de l’Opéra on Monday, welcoming the brand’s “Dream Team” to the runway, which comprised of ambassadors, artists, actresses and activists.
Delevingne and Longoria held hands as they paraded down the runway.
Jenner wore a mesh red asymmetric dress. The model showcased bleach blonde hair for the occasion.
The theme for this year’s event was ‘Walk Your Worth’, which celebrated “women’s empowerment, inclusion, and sisterhood”.
TV star Aja Naomi King channelled Dior in a black drop waist tulle ballet gown. The American actress paid homage to the Sixties with a sleek and sophisticated beehive hair do.
The French beauty brand stated on its website that each woman on the runway “upholds and empowers a particular female strength, inspiring others to fulfil their talents every day through their commitment to causes that echo our values of feminism, inclusivity, equal rights and sustainability”.
