A man has been rushed to hospital after allegedly being stabbed last night in Glasgow.
The alleged attack occurred at around 11.05pmon Leslie Street in the Pollokshields area of the city.
Emergency services were scrambled to the scene, with cops locking down the road.
A 39-year-old man was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment. The full extent of his injuries is not currently known.
Another man, also 39, has been arrested in connection with the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 39-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a serious assault on a 39-year-old man in Leslie Street, Pollokshields, Glasgow that we were called to around 11.05pm on Monday, 23 September, 2024.
“The injured man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. Enquiries are continuing.”
