On Tripadvisor, Drimsynie Holiday Village has earned a four out of five star rating from former guests, with many saying they can’t wait to return.
One five star rating read: “Had a great stay with the kids in a hot tub lodge. Would highly recommend this holiday village for scenery/walks/comfort/cleanliness etc Plenty to do or just great to chill out. My daughters done the gorge go cove adventure with Scott and they absolutely loved it and Scott was great with them making them feel at ease.
“Already looking at coming back next year.”
However, some felt that their accommodation could use and update, with a three star rater writing: “Firstly lodge needs a refresh and update. Showers look old and dated. Everything shuts at 6pm, which was awful with two teenagers and a baby.
“Not even expecting entertainment every night, but something. Beautiful view from the lodge.
“Staff very helpful and friendly. Restaurant food was nothing special, had way worse though. There was a staff member who went above and beyond to keep kids entertained thank you to Justin. For a relaxing holiday, it would be perfect, but with kids at this time of year was not ideal.”
Elsewhere, holidaymakers can book a stay at the Ardlui Hotel, which sits along the shores of Loch Lomond in a separate Wowcher offer.
