Two pensioners have been rushed to hospital after being hit by a car in Aberdeen.
The vehicle ploughed into the men, aged 68 and 71, at around 12.40pm on Summerhill Court in the west of the Granite City.
The pair were blue-lighted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for emergency treatment. Their condition is currently unknown.
Images from the scene show a cordon erected, while an ambulance and several police vehicles are parked nearby.
An investigation has been launched into the incident and it remains ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.40pm on Wednesday, September 25, we were called to a report of a car crashing into two male pedestrians on Summerhill Court, Aberdeen.
“Emergency services attended and the pedestrians, aged 71 and 68, were taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.
They added: “There are no other reported injuries. Enquiries are ongoing.”
