Eamonn Holmes is living it up post-divorce from Ruth Langsford, recently seen embarking on a luxury cruise with his new flame – who’s reportedly “calling him soulmate” just four months after his marriage ended.
The ex-This Morning host, 64, who has been battling health problems, has been spotted out and about with his new partner, Katie Alexander, 42, in recent weeks which was reported by photos obtained in the Mirror.
Given Katie’s profession as a relationship counsellor, it should go smoothly. Things seem to be progressing quickly, with an insider telling Heat Magazine the pair are “smitten” with one another, and that Katie, 42, is in the relationship for the long-run.
“Katie is telling everyone that she’s totally smitten and in love. They’ve known each other for nine years, so this isn’t a fly-by-night relationship – she’s in it for the long haul,” they told the publication.
The couple are reportedly already house hunting together, with the source adding: “They’re now looking at places to move in together, as they want a lot more space.”
It could even signal a return to Eamonn’s hometown of Belfast while he recharges from various health issues that have troubled him in recent years. Eamonn became wheelchair-bound following back surgery earlier this year, amid other health struggles.

Back in January, he suffered a fall that resulted in a broken shoulder, and following nine months and a significant divorce, Eamonn seems to be embracing new beginnings with Katie, who is a mum of three. A source from Heat Magazine disclosed: “Eamonn is her man, and she’s there to look after him.”
Meanwhile, Loose Women’s Ruth Langsford is reportedly “ready to date” post-split, even though the divorce has apparently taken a bitter turn since Eamonn’s new partner came to light.
Nevertheless, an insider claims: “While Ruth’s making the most of being single, she’s also ready to dip her toe back into the dating pool – and after some friendly flirting, she’s given pals the go-ahead to set her up on dates.”
