Netflix is dropping Nobody Wants This on 26 September, spotlighting the unusual pairing of rabbi Noah (portrayed by Adam Brody) and a sex podcast host, Joanne (Kristen Bell).
Adam Brody, aged 44 and hailing from California, garnered fame with his portrayal of Seth Cohen on The O. C.
Besides acting, he also ventured into producing with the TV series StartUp. Brooding twins Sean and Matthew are his younger siblings, and he was born into a Jewish family.
Raised in San Diego, Brody confessed his academic record wasn’t shimmering. He confessed to Blogger News: “While I wasn’t a Casanova, I had cute girlfriends.”
The California native shared, “I was all about surfing and pretty much lived at the beach, I was the California Guy. I had poor grades and knew only one other Jewish kid.”
His life took a turn when he chose Hollywood over the waves, remarking, “Then I moved to Hollywood and realized that reading and drinking coffee are where it’s at and that everyone’s Jewish. So I became more nerdy and embraced my neurotic side.”
MiraCosta College had him for just a year; at 19, he dropped out to pursue stardom in Hollywood.
It was during The Oranges’ production in New York that he met Leighton Meester, famed for Gossip Girl, leading to a secret wedding in 2014.
Their home blossomed with the arrival of daughter Arlo Day in 2015, followed by a son five years later.
Casually chatting on Twitch for Hold the Phone TV’s The Fun Time Boys Game Night Spectacular, Adam shared: “I have a new kid. Since last I played, I have a new kid.”
“I have a boy, and he’s a dream. He’s a dream boy.”
In a chat with Glamour back in September 2018, Leighton Meester revealed that despite now being a mother, she still connects with her character Angie D’Amato on the show Single Parents.
She remarked: “Nobody can tell you what parenthood is going to be like. You think you know, and then it’s just so hard.”
“I feel so, so lucky that I have help and a husband. I feel stable, but there are so many people who don’t have that.”
“In a really tender way, Single Parents explores how parenting is an emotional roller coaster.”
