Hurricane Helene continues to get stronger as it makes its way across the Gulf of Mexico to Florida on Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2024. The storm, which is expected to make landfall on Florida’s Gulf Coast late Thursday, Sept. 26, cane bring with it winds up to 125 mph and 8-12 inches of rain.
