Rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs’ children have hit back over what they say are conspiracy theories that their hip hop mogul dad was involved in their mother Kim Porter’s death after learning she had written a memoir.

Christian, 26, twins D’Lila and Jessie Combs, 17, as well as Quincy Brown, 33, – Porter’s son with Al B. Sure! who was raised by Diddy — slammed recent accusations surrounding their late mother.

The four siblings spoke out in a statement on social media, calling claims that their late mother wrote a memoir “simply untrue”.

A book, titled KIM’S LOST WORDS: A Journey for Justice, From the Other Side, was reportedly saved on a hard drive by Porter and sent to Los Angeles record producer Chris Todd, who later released it on September 6, using the pseudonym Jamal T. Millwood. However, Porter’s children are now claiming she never wrote a memoir.

In a joint statement, the four say it’s been hard to reconcile how their mother was taken from them too soon, but they dismissed any theories Diddy was involved in her death, writing: “The cause of her death has long been established. There was no foul play.”

Kim died suddenly in 2018, and an autopsy revealed her cause of death to be pneumonia.

However, in the wake of dad-of-seven Diddy‘s arrest and federal indictment, there have been calls for the investigation into Kim’s death to be reopened.

The four have slammed the book‘s claim of authenticity, saying: “Claims that our mom wrote a book are simply untrue. She did not and anyone claiming to have a manuscript is misrepresenting themselves.”

They add: “We are deeply saddened that the world has made a spectacle of what has been the most tragic event of our lives.”

In addition to asking for privacy, they also said they don’t want “horrific conspiracy theories” tearing down their mother’s legacy as they “continue to cope with her loss every day”.

The statement read: “We have seen so many hurtful false rumours circulating about our parents Kim Porter and Sean Combs’ relationship. As well as about our mum’s passing. That we need to speak out.

“Claims that our mum wrote a book are simply untrue. She did not. And anyone claiming to have a manuscript is misrepresenting themselves.

“Additionally, please understand that any so-called friend speaking on behalf of our mum and her family is not a friend. Nor do they have her best interests at heart.

“Our lives were shattered when we lost our mother. She was our world. Nothing has been the same since she passed. While it has been incredibly difficult to reconcile how she could be taken from us too soon. The cause of her death has long been established. There was no foul play. Grief is a lifelong process. And we ask that everyone respect our request for peace.”

Diddy shares three other children – eldest son Justin, 30, and daughters Chance, 18 and one-year-old Love with different women.

Porter was found dead in her home in Toluca Lake, California, in 2018 after days of flu-like symptoms. After initially listing her cause of death as “deferred” the coroner later changed it to lobar pneumonia.

As he awaits trial, Combs is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York after being denied bail.

He has reportedly been recloated for “‘special protection” because the prison is notoriously violent.

He has been charged with racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution, alleging he “abused, threatened, and coerced women and others around him to fulfil sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his conduct”.

He has also been hit with a new civil lawsuit by a woman who claims she was drugged and raped by the music mogul and his bodyguard Joseph Sherman, who are also accused of recording the assault and showing it to others, in the latest in a series of sexual misconduct lawsuits Combs has vehemently denied.

Thalia Graves filed a federal lawsuit in New York on Tuesday claiming she was offered a glass of wine by Combs and Sherman in 2001, when she was 25, that made her “lightheaded, dizzy and physically weak” before she lost consciousness and was raped by the two men her while her hands were tied behind her back.

Earlier this week, The Record revealed how one Scots fan claimed she was told to get naked and would be separated from her friends if she wanted to go to a party Combs held in Glasgow in 2010.
