Police Scotland has confirmed a man was found dead in the early hours of this morning in a quiet area of Livingston.
They received reports of concern for a person in Bankton Lane on Thursday, September 26. At around 2am officers were called to attend an incident on the stretch of road.
Edinburgh Live reports Emergency service personnel attended the scene with officers still in attendance.
A statement from Police Scotland said: “Around 2am on Thursday, 26 September, officers were called to a report of a concern for a man in Bankton Lane, Livingston.
“Emergency services attended and a man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Officers remain in attendance and Bankton Lane and Bankton Glade are closed.”
