ATHENS, W.Va. – Wednesday afternoon marked the second straight match Concord Women’s Soccer played at home.

After winning their last on Sunday versus Davis and Elkins, 5-0, they hoped to get above .500 for the first time this season.

What was a close match the entire first half, turned the other way for the Mountain Lions in the second.

Just 10 minutes into the second half, the University of Charleston’s squad opened up the scoring, from there the floodgates opened as the Golden Eagles scored two more times in the half to win it 3-0.

Concord is back at it again Sunday, this time in Glenville, WV to visit the Glenville State Pioneers.
