AUSTIN, Texas — A pedestrian is dead after being hit by a vehicle in East Austin on Wednesday night.
According to Austin-Travis County EMS (ATCEMS), the incident happened at the intersection of East Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard and Springdale Road around 9:32 p.m.
Medics conducted CPR on the adult victim, but the person died on the scene.
Drivers have been told to expect traffic delays near the scene.
