Andrew Kerr from Southerness Golf Club has claimed the 2024 South of Scotland Order of Merit with 735 points.

A large part of this was down to claiming the rare double of winning both the South Strokeplay and Matchplay titles. Runner-up positions in the Southerness Challenge and Shamash Trophy along with a sting of top finishes saw Andrew claim his first Order of Merit title.

Runner-up on 675 points was Danny McConnachie (Crichton) who had an excellent season including winning the final two OOM events; the Shamash Trophy and Sutherland Chalice with tremendous under par scores.

Third place went to Colin Hamilton (Stranraer) on 515 points and Christopher Corbett (Dumfries & Galloway) was fourth on 440 points.

Final totals: 1 Andrew Kerr (Southerness) 735; 2 Danny McConnachie (Crichton) 675; 3 Colin Hamilton (Stranraer) 515; 4 Chris Corbett (Dumfries & Galloway) 440; 5 Iain Rae (Dalbeattie) 430; 6 David Brodie (Newton Stewart) 425; 7 Ciaran Howat (Dumfries & County) 345; 8 Ross Murray (Southerness) 322.5; 9 Adam Aitken (Dalbeattie) 320; 10 Alan Birdsall (Dumfries & County) 280.
