An influencer in Dubai has claimed her husband bought her a private island worth millions so she could wear a bikini on the privacy of her own beach.
Soudi Al Nadak, 26, shared a video on Instagram of the alleged private island with the caption ‘POV: You wanted to wear a bikini so your millionaire husband bought you an island.’
The sell-proclaimed ‘full-time housewife’ has been married to Dubai businessman Jamal Al Nadak since 2021, after they met while studying.
Soudi, who was born in Sussex, has an Instagram following of 336,000, and shares her lavish lifestyle with her fans.
She has a video series titled ‘how much my millionaire husband spent on me this week’ on her social media pages, with her spouse spending anywhere between £37,000 – £745,00.
And now, in a recent interview, Soudi has revealed her husband bought her a $50million (£37million) island as an investment.
‘It was something we were looking to do for a while for investment and my husband wants me to feel safe on a beach which is why he purchased one,’ she told Hindustan Times.
‘For privacy reasons we aren’t sharing the exact location but it’s in Asia and it was $50m.’
In a video posted in April this year, Soudi detailed the things that ‘upset’ herafter her marriage to Jamal.
‘It’s honestly so annoying when people make these stereotypical assumptions. If you really think about [having other wives] is honestly not that bad, it’s like having your best friend live with you 24/7,’ she said.
‘If I was in that situation, I would obviously expect hubby to buy two separate mansions because I’m not sharing with anyone.
‘Another benefit is that you get to borrow all of her bags and shoes so you basically have double the amount of clothes.’
The 26-year-old also said it infuriates her when others try to push her religious beliefs on her, as she is just ‘out here doing my own thing’.
‘Like [it annoys me] when people tell me I should be covering up more,’ she said.
She reiterated that she respects ‘all religions and all beliefs’ but believes that ‘no-one should send hate or be judged just because they don’t act or dress in a certain way’.
