We’ve all experienced the occasional online shopping blunder, but one woman’s recent experience has left her utterly astonished. She ordered a £1 top from Vinted only to receive something entirely unexpected.

A TikTok user, known as @depopdrama, recounted the tale of this peculiar shopping incident in a video. He revealed that the top, supposedly from Poundland, bore the message: “My husband is 40, and still hot.”

He then displayed the exchange between the buyer and seller, with the latter confirming the item had been dispatched. The buyer later queried: “Did you send it in a brown box hun? I opened it, and it’s an all day breakfast.”

The seller was baffled, having sent the top in an envelope, not a box. The buyer clarified with a photo of the unexpected breakfast meal she received, consisting of items like hash browns and bacon.

The seller was flummoxed, suggesting a “mix up” must have occurred. The buyer, unsatisfied, requested a refund, pointing out the item was SNAD (significantly not as described) and expressing disappointment over not receiving the top.

The issue was escalated to Vinted for resolution, which ultimately ruled in favour of the buyer, allowing her to retain both the top (or rather, the breakfast) and her £1. The TikToker invited his followers to weigh in on the situation, though he didn’t hold back his own opinion. In the caption of his video, he expressed: “I’m not sure what’s worse, the all-day breakfast or that awful top.”

One user quipped in response: “The breakfast is probably more valuable than the top.” Another chimed in with: “I’d rather have an all-day breakfast.”

A different follower remarked: “If it was anything less than a fiver, I really wouldn’t care that much about it.” And yet another added their two cents, saying: “I wouldn’t even complain to be honest.”
