Pop stars are no strangers to the a head-turning look, and it seems Paris Fashion Week is full of them, including from a former X Factor contestant.
Having risen to fame on the popular British competition TV series at just 17 years old, the star has gone on to build an international fan base as both a member of a girl group and a solo artist.
Often appearing front row at high-profile events, including Fashion Week, she has started experimenting with her look in recent years, and her most recent could be her boldest yet.
Donning a black lace bralette covered by a matching black lace bodysuit and gloves, the 27-year-old musician paired her risky outfit with a miniskirt and oversized coat along with a curiosity-provoking black ski mask.
With her long black hair falling naturally by her side and eye-catching silver dangly earrings, it was hard to tell who was underneath the daring look, but it was soon revealed to be popstar Camila Cabello.
Camila, who was once a part of the group Fifth Harmony before leaving in late 2016, appeared in good spirits at the Vetments runway show on Friday and was even seen to reunite with her former bandmate, Normani.
The pair have not been seen together publicly since 2018, two years after the Grammy-nominated singer left the group to pursue solo opportunities, but it appeared there was no bad blood between them.
Normani, 28, who is also a successful solo artist, was seen smiling as she covered Camila’s mouth with her hands as she talked.
The pair were also seen laughing together at the event, where they were joined by Ice Spice, J. Balvin, Bella Thorne, and Olympic swimmer Tom Daley.
Elsewhere, Camila sat with Michèle Lamy, the wife of famed fashion designer Rick Owens.
While bold, the popstar’s ski mask look isn’t exactly off-brand, as she has been seen wearing them for the aesthetic of her new album, C,XOXO.
In a trailer for her fourth studio album, which was released on June 28, she was seen wearing a baby pink bedazzled ski mask while her backup dancers wore matching plain baby pink masks.
Camila’s new album is her first release in over two years and marks her first album since parting ways with Epic Records and signing with Interscope Records.
Classed as a pop album, the singer told SirusXM that she sees it as having ‘Miami baddie energy’ and features ‘things that you haven’t heard from [her] before’.
It debuted at number 13 on the US Billboard 200, making it her first solo album to miss out on reaching top ten status.
